About this
The estate tracks below Attigundi are closed to private cars, so the way to see the falls is a hired jeep from the checkpoint — about ₹600–800 per jeep for six to eight, round trip. Jhari Falls first, for the pool you can stand in, then back up to Manikyadhara near the Baba Budan shrine for the spray, and the Dattatreya Peetha itself, which Hindus and Muslims have shared for centuries. A half day that fits neatly after a Mullayanagiri sunrise. The falls run August to January.

Guide optional. Go with a guide or go on your own — entirely your call. The jeep is compulsory on the estate track; a guide is not.
No guide on MaladTrip has listed this one yet, so it cannot be booked here. You can still do it on your own — the details above are what you need. We have described it anyway: it is worth doing, and we would rather tell you it exists than pretend it does not.
